Foreign objects, of any kind, should not be added into or above the filter of the machine. This could damage your machine and is a possible fire hazard. If your machine smells, first check the bag and filter, changing if required. The filter can also be cleaned with a stiff brush if needed but is not washable.
Yes, you can, but it is advisable to use genuine dust bags to avoid excess dust clogging the machine filters and motor. Non-genuine accessories and consumables could shorten the life of your machine and invalidate your warranty.
Although some L or M Class machines may look the same, they do not have the same internal filtration and have not undergone the same strict, regulated testing. All H Class machines are sodium tested and certificated. This not only ensures your safety but is required to meet Health and Safety requirements.
