TAP 14 – TTV4555 Splash Guard Introduction
As a result of field experience, we have found that the action of the scrubbing brushes on the TTV4555 allows water/ chemicals to be sprayed onto the rear transaxle drive unit during operation. To prevent this all new machines will be fitted with an additional splash guard which can also be retro-fitted if required.

When we designed the TTV 5565 followed by the TTV 4555, TTB 6055 and TTB 6055T we added a small microswitch between the top and bottom tanks. The purpose of this switch was to prevent the machine from operating when the top tank was was raised.
